Mates Ben and Andrew told us they love how easy it is being on JP team 🙌

What was it like meeting your new team for the first time?

B: It was enjoyable to meet my new team for the first game, I was lucky I joined with my friend Andrew so it's great to join with a friend. Everyone was friendly and introduced themselves to each other which was a great icebreaker.

A: I joined with Ben so it wasn't as daunting for us. After kick off we all settled in and it's getting better as the weeks go on.

What else do you do in your spare time? Any fun facts we should know about you?

B: I have a massive passion for skiing and I've lived and taught it in Canada and every time I went to the airport I always had 3+ bags of ski/snowboard equipment!

A: I'm a keen triathlete, I'm trying to do an Ironman in under 10 hours. I used Just Play to join a team so I could break up my training week and add something a little different.

What kind of skill rating would you give yourself?

B: I can definitely hold my own but not quite Jordan level, post game beer is a ritual.

A: Definitely here for the beers, I think I'm more of a Steve Kerr than an MJ! 🍻

Do you have a fun story about your Just Play team?

B: The first game was a baptism of fire but we quickly found our feet and followed it up with a couple of wins.

What would you say to someone who’s considering joining Just Play?

A: Just go for it, it's a great environment and you feel welcomed by the organisers and the other teams. Also it's great for cutting out all the faff that comes with running your own squad, so much easier! 🙌
