Meet Aaron ⚽️

We chatted with Futsal legend Aaron, to hear his thoughts on Just Play:

How did you Just Play journey begin?

In Feb 2018 my partner took a contract interstate for 5 months, and I wanted to sign up for a class or a sport or something and started googling. Ended up on the JustPlay site and am now into my 3rd full season. It's been great!

Tell us about what it was like meeting your team for the first time.

I'm a bit shy so I was a little tentative but you look for the Just Play shirts and it's no problem. I like to pick up single games here and there so I meet a new team for the first time pretty often - everyone's always nice and friendly.

Favourite Just Play moment?

It's probably a tie between the first goal I scored (several games into the season!), after which I ran back to our half of the court saying "I've never had a GOAL before", and the time the most shy and apologetic member of our team got a yellow card. ☺️

Would you recommend Just Play to a friend?

Absolutely! It's exercise, it's fun, you meet some new people, and you get better at playing at the same time.
