Updates to uniforms. Hello Just Play Shop 👋

Every year over the silly season, the team here at Just Play spends time thinking about how we can improve the social sport experience for everyone who plays with us. A bit of reflection before we set our goals for the new year!

We’re excited to share all of the changes we’re making. To start, we want to provide an update on uniforms.

Up until now, we’ve always included a playing top at no extra cost to you in your first season.

In recent years, the cost of supplying and shipping these uniforms has increased. We are at the point where we feel that increasing prices across the board to cover these costs is unfair to our loyal players who have been with us for years. 

We don’t want to be like the banks or energy companies who rip off existing customers to acquire new ones with shiny offers!

This decision has also been supported by the feedback we received that not all Just Play players wear theirs each week. The last thing we want to do is send tops to people who don’t want them, with the costs borne by people who see no benefit from it. 

So from now, when you sign up for a new season you have the option to purchase a playing top. And if you just love us that much and want one even if it isn’t your first season, you can buy one at any time in our new shop on the Just Play website! 

You can check the uniform requirements for your league in the Just Play app so that you know what you need to be wearing in order to play. Reach out to us if you ever have any questions about this, or anything else.
